A Poem to the Politicians

A Year 9 student has been selected out of over 1000 entries to the G7 Summit Arts Competition to have her poetry read by world leaders. After being chosen by Cornwall Council, the poem was then shortlisted by the Cabinet Office as one of the top 6 entries from across the county.

Susannah's poem 'Nurture Earth' will be displayed at Number 10 Downing Street, the International Media House, and at an exhibition at the Cornwall House. She believes that this will be a fantastic opportunity to

"express [her] love for our environment and address the issues we face regarding climate change and pollution".

Here are a few photos from the exhibition at the Cornwall House, Falmouth:

Congratulations - we can't wait for the world leaders to read 'Nurture Earth' and hear a powerful message about protecting our planet.
